Getting Started: Class Actions

There are entire journals devoted exclusively to the subject of class actions. To search for articles in these (or other) journals, use one or more of the library's journal indexes:

• The Index to Canadian Legal Literature is available in print (shelved in the Periodicals Room) and online via both Lexis+™ Canada and WestlawNext Canada. Coverage varies with the different publishers' versions.

• Lexis+™ Canada, WestlawNext Canada and HeinOnline have searchable full text journal articles (of those, only HeinOnline can be used remotely by licensees).

• Canadian Class Action Review = La revue canadienne des recours collectifs, vol. 1- (Irwin Law, 2004-) / Periodicals Room, 1st floor; also available on vLex in the library.

• Class Action Defence Quarterly, vol. 1- (LexisNexis, 2006-) / Periodicals Room, 1st floor

• Class Action Reports, vol. 1 - (Thomson/West, 1972- ). Available through Westlaw US in the library.

• Siskinds Class Actions NetLetter, 2000-2018. Available on Lexis+™ Canada in the library.
